Riesling from the single vineyard, Abtsberg, by the commune of Maximin Grunhaus in the outskirts of Mertesdorf on the southern bank of the famous Mosel river.
Auslese is a semi-sweet or sweet style of German wine, made from individually-selected bunches of very ripe grapes based on their ripeness level and sugar content.
